To minimise the environmental impact of landfilling of these waste streams, Solvwaste Environmental offer a collection and recycling service that re-uses ALL the components of the lamps. For further detailed information please click on the .pdf files listed below.

We can provide a range of purpose designed containers for safe storage and transport of used lamps (examples of some of our containers are shown). All that needs to be done, is for you to collect and store the UNBROKEN lamps. When full we collect the whole container, delivering a replacement at the same time. Alternatively we can transfer the used lamps into a container that we carry on our vehicles. The process enables us to reprocess for re-use ALL the components of a used lamp and produces mercury to 99.98% purity.
