The Haz-Box Service
Many “everyday” waste items are classified as hazardous waste, and must not be deposited in general waste containers.
Solvwaste Environmental Ltd. is working in partnership with Grundon Waste Management to provide the Haz-Box Service, which is specifically designed for businesses that produce low volumes of hazardous waste. The Haz-Box service ensures legislative compliance that is straightforward and cost effective.
We supply you with 55 litre lidded red plastic boxes for the storage of your small mixed hazardous wastes. Your Haz-Box will be emptied on a pre-determined collection schedule (fortnightly, four weekly or quarterly). A smaller blue box is available for the collection of lithium batteries.
